If your order was returned to us, we will verify your correct address and mail it to you once again. If 12 or more business days have passed since you ordered your Vehicle Sticker online, or if more than 30 days have passed since you ordered your Vehicle Sticker by mail, please call us at 312-74C-LERK (31) to determine if your Vehicle Sticker was returned to our office as undeliverable. Vehicle Stickers purchased online should arrive within 10-12 business days. If you ordered your Vehicle Sticker online or by mail but never received it, you may be eligible for a free replacement. The Office of the City Clerk shall not be held liable for any improper or incorrect use of the information described and/or contained herein and assumes no responsibility for anyone’s use of the information.
Vehicle Stickers are only eligible for refunds in the case of duplicate sticker purchases or if the Office of the City Clerk determines the sticker has invalid information on it. The Office of the City Clerk reserves the right to void any order – and void shipment of the order – if it is determined a purchase was made fraudulently.
License type classifications are descriptors of your vehicle’s weight class and not necessarily indicative of your vehicle’s body type. Truck or vehicle with a gross weight of 16,001 lbs or more with a payload capacity of 2,500 lbs or more Vehicle, Truck, pickup truck with closed or open bed, or van with a gross weight of 16,000 lbs or less or with a payload capacity of 2,500 lbs or more Vehicle with curb weight of 4,501 lbs or more with a payload capacity of 2,499 lbs or less Vehicle with curb weight of 4,500 lbs or less with a payload capacity of 2,499 lbs or less Your assigned license type is determined by your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and the make and model in the State Vehicle Registration ID Card. Pricing is prorated based on the duration options offered to you at the point of sale.
